James (Pops) Clinton
CLINTON (Glasnevin, Dublin, formerly of Portrane, Co. Dublin and late of An Garda Síochána) February 4th 2023 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown and surrounded by his family, James (Pops), beloved husband of Mary, dear father of John, Shay, Louise and Ollie, devoted grandfather to Conor, Caitlín, Sarah, Ellen, Áine, James, Méabh, Daniel, Dylan, Jack, Lucy and the late baby Oliver. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law Cora, Hazel and Edel, brothers John, Declan and Liam, sisters Carmel, Breda and Mairéad, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and former colleagues.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at his daughter’s home in Glasnevin on Wednesday, February 8th, from 16:00 pm to 20:00 pm with prayers at 20:00 pm.
Removal to Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall Road East, Glasnevin, on Thursday, February 9th, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11:30 am followed by cremation at Dardistown Crematorium at 13:30 pm.
